Celebrating Iowa State legacy families
The Generations Award is available to admitted, nonresident students who are children or grandchildren of Iowa State graduates. Graduates are defined as those who have earned a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree from Iowa State University.
To apply, students must complete the Generations Award application in the OneApp Scholarship portal and provide details to verify the graduation status of their parent, step-parent, legal guardian, grandparent, or great-grandparent. The award provides $1,500 per year and can be combined with other merit scholarships from the Office of Admissions.
