    Accommodations that eliminate barriers

    Student Accessibility Services promotes the advancement of equity, access, and inclusion by coordinating accommodations for students with disabilities and collaborating with campus partners.     Support to help you succeed

    The Academic Success Center provides learning opportunities for all students through services that support academic skill development, grade improvement, and engagement with peers – all of which promote success and self-directed learning. The ASC offers individualized and group-facilitated experiences that can be connected to a specific course, or focus on general skill development.

    Building skills and confidence

    The Writing and Media Center provides written, oral, visual, and electronic communication services to students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding communities. Programming includes embedded consultants in campus programs, workshops, presentations, study retreats, and a speaker series.

    Supporting women in STEM majors

    The Program for Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) provides women and nonbinary students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with a caring community, academic support, financial assistance, and other programming. WiSE opportunities are tailored to meet each student’s unique needs so they can excel in their studies, approach their careers with confidence, and become advocates and leaders in their communities.

The environment was comfortable and collaborative and I never felt intimidated or embarrassed about my work.
