From paving the way in transportation research to creating lead-free solder that's used in every cell phone to winning the Nobel Prize in chemistry, Iowa State innovators are at the forefront of advancing the world. Now we're taking innovation further than ever before with a new initiative – appropriately called Innovate at Iowa State.

It's an ecosystem where innovation and entrepreneurship are built into the curriculum. So you don't just learn about entrepreneurs – you learn to innovate like them. How? With innovation-focused programming like the Pappajohn Center's CYstarters and the Agricultural Entrepreneurship Initiative's Change-Maker Academy. With the option to major or minor in entrepreneurship. And with the crown jewel – the groundbreaking Student Innovation Center, set to open fall 2020.

At the Student Innovation Center, you have access to state-of-the art equipment, labs, and maker spaces. Here's where you can test ideas in everything from heavy metal engineering and glass blowing to culinary creations and electronics manufacturing. Let's just say if you can dream it, you can do it here. And by co-creating with scholars in different disciplines, you'll gain a fresh perspective that will help transform your ideas into impact faster than ever before.

So, if you're driven to make the future a better place. If you're brimming with ideas you want to turn into action. If you're ready to be inspired by some of the most brilliant minds you'll ever meet. If you're ready for your life's grand adventure, we invite you to Innovate at Iowa State.
