The campus bus system

The CyRide bus system serves the Iowa State University campus and the city of Ames. Rides on campus are free. Bus fare on off-campus routes is $1.

Campus routes

CyRide stops are plentiful on the campus. Look for the Cy bus stop sign (at right). Routes are designated by color, and the popular on-campus routes are the "orange," "brown" and "gold" routes. Students are familiar with the routes and can help you find the best bus for your destination.
