New approach
Pilot sections of ISUComm, a new way to teach communication skills to Iowa State students, are being taught this year. The ISUComm concept is that students do best when they learn and practice communication in all areas of undergraduate study, not just in speech and writing classes. NIT semifinals tonight
The Cyclone men's basketball team takes on Rutgers in Madison Square Garden at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the semifinals of the NIT. The game will air on ESPN2 (channel 36 in Ames/Des Moines area) and the Cyclone Radio Network.

A get-out-the-vote tour currently on campus includes an original copy of the Declaration of Independence, printed the night of July 4, 1776. It can be viewed March 30 (noon-7 p.m., Memorial Union Great Hall). More.
