In a March 24, 2003, statement, ISU President Gregory Geoffroy urged

especially those in our Armed Forces and those who are from parts of
the world that are directly or indirectly involved in the
conflict." He added, "Our thoughts and prayers are with the people who find
themselves in the middle of this conflict, and we grieve with those
who have lost loved ones."
