Online auction benefits student memorial scholarship
An online auction is under way to raise scholarship funds in the memory of an Iowa State student.Alison Ciancio, an animal science pre-veterinary medicine sophomore, was killed in January 2002 when her vehicle was struck by a drunk driver.
A scholarship in her name will be awarded annually to a member of the Dairy Science Club.
The online auction, which runs through Nov. 24, features such items as art, antiques and sports items autographed by Cyclone athletic celebrities. Auction items can be viewed and bid upon at this Web site: www.ag.iastate.edu/departments/ansci/alisonciancio/.
