General info for coordinators

As a calendar coordinator, you'll receive periodic e-mail updates on the calendar. These will include calendar-related announcements and tips, and answers to frequently asked questions. We'll also let you know when we periodically change the password that you use to sign on to the "enter," "modify" and "delete" forms.

Inside Iowa State & the online calendar

The "Popular Events" calendar will be downloaded regularly and printed in the faculty-staff newspaper Inside Iowa State. To ensure that your item appears in Inside, it should be on the online calendar by download time (8 a.m. the Monday of publication week). If your entry changes after the download or if you miss the download deadline and it's vital that your event appear in the newspaper, contact Courtney Jacobsen, calendar@iastate.edu, 294-7958.

Changes, cancellations

The modify form makes it easy to make changes in calendar events. However, please alert University Relations (294-7958) as well if a public event has been cancelled or postponed or moved, as it may be necessary to alert media and others.
