Thielen, Crabtree step down
"The tradition of active student involvement in campus life and leadership development is alive and well today, and I believe it will continue strong in the future," Thielen said, "so the time just seemed right for me to move my life in a new direction."
"I felt this was an appropriate time to step down as dean and begin a new phase of my life," Crabtree said. "I'm very proud of the accomplishments of the College of Family and Consumer Sciences over the past 10 years. The college is very strong, in terms of the quality of the faculty, students, staff and programs, and in terms of our external support and the accomplishments of our alumni. We also are making progress in facilities. This is an opportune time for new leadership to come in."
