It's been five years since Martin Jischke took office as Iowa State's
president. During a recent visit with The Iowa Stater, Dr. Jischke
took the opportunity to reflect on those years and Iowa State's journey
toward being the best land-grant university in the country.
ISU prof Dorothy Schwieder is an expert on Iowa's history. Check out the excerpts from her most recent book.
