Freezing To the editor: In response to the letter "How Much Snow?" (David Sheldahl, May '95 Iowa Stater, writing about the winter of 1936), I know you could walk on top of the snow drifts and touch the telephone wires. Many of us went in the east door of the Memorial Union and out the west door. That caused our ears to freeze. The ears were painted with Merthiolate. Lots of brown ears were on campus. --Elton A.
