Saturday Graduates Three years of attending Saturday classes paid off for 34 students in August when they received their MBAs. "We are very proud of the first graduating class of Saturday MBAs. They are our program's pioneers," said Ron Ackerman, director of graduate programs at the College of Business. The Saturday MBA program, begun in 1992, is intended to fit the schedule of employed students who cannot attend classes during the work week. "It is impressive that nearly 80 percent of the original class is graduating within the three-year schedule. This demonstrates the remarkable determination of our Saturday MBA students," Ackerman said. Approximately 125 students currently are enrolled in the Saturday MBA program, he added.
