Got A Question? Step Up To The Kiosk Iowa State students, faculty, staff and even campus visitors are getting an A-Plus. A-Plus is the name of electronic information kiosks that were installed fall semester inside the Lied Recreation/Athletic Center, the Memorial Union, Carver Hall and the ISU Library. The A in A-Plus stands for "access." The kiosks will provide people on campus with instant, convenient access to frequently requested information. Individual students, for example, can use the kiosks to obtain information about their financial aid accounts or class schedules. (Students will receive personal identification numbers to tap into their own private information.) Visitors can use the kiosks to see a campus map and schedules of coming events. The kiosks also will be equipped with phone and fax capabilities. _____ contact: University Relations, (515) 294-3129 updated: 9-28-95
