In Brief YOU'LL FALL FOR THESE EVENTS The Iowa State Alumni Association is gearing up for its two marquee autumn events: Parent and Family Weekend, and Homecoming. --Parent and Family Weekend (formerly Parents Weekend) is Oct. 6-8. Featured activities include a tailgate before the Oklahoma-Iowa State football game and Casino Night. --Homecoming '95 follows two weeks later, Oct. 20-22. This festive weekend will be highlighted by the Thursday night pep rally and the All-Alumni Tailgate before the Colorado-ISU football game. IN THE SWIM The second annual Cyclone Swimming Reunion also is scheduled for Homecoming weekend. This year's event will honor Iowa State alumnus T.A. Wilson, the retired chair of Boeing Aircraft who recently endowed the ISU swimming program with a $500,000 gift. Wilson will be recognized during a varsity-alumni meet for men's and women's teams at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Beyer Hall pool. The reunion weekend also includes a tailgate barbecue before the Cyclone football game. GRADUATE DAY Iowa State will holds its sixth annual Graduate and Professional School Information Day Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union. About 90 representatives of graduate, medical and allied health, law, theology and business schools from across the nation will be represented. Those attending can explore such topics as admission requirements, costs, graduates' job prospects and student and community life. Preregistration is not required, and there is no fee for attending.
