Disappointed To the Editor: Re: Iowa Stater, May 1995 "Activist..." You folks disappoint me a great deal. I have followed the saga of the black (I refuse to acknowledge hyphenated Americans) history course and the tattoos et al, ad nauseum. To spend a full page (1/12, 8.5 percent) of our limited school news devoted to [Micheal Boulden] is abominable. One wishes for a dean of men like Dean Helser (circa 1950) who ruled supreme during my years. You might have printed [Boulden's] expulsion three years ago -- end of story. Of course, in those years we had to concentrate on our powerful and demanding core disciplines of Vet Med, Engineering, Industrial Science, Home Economics, Agriculture and had little time for the modern politically correct nonsense he espouses. -- Frank A.
